In thinking, there should be a City of Three Rivers Commission meeting tomorrow evening, May 1, 2012, I went into the City's Official website.
What did I find? The last agenda listed was for April 17th, the last minutes were for March 20th.
I thought, there must be a meeting tomorrow evening, so went on the net, and find a special ceremony is scheduled at City Hall for retiree Baker at 4:30pm, with the conventional meeting at 6:00pm.
Why have a City website, if it not kept up to date?

Could we not use some new Commissioners, at City Hall?

I have never understood the lag in getting that stuff posted. It should only take minutes to get it from the desktop to the web.

I wonder whose job it is to keep it up to date. Anybody know?

Yes. However, in general, no one runs for open seats so we get what we end up with.

By the way, WLKM's web site has this "Baker to be honored".

They have actually been pretty good about getting the packet on the web site lately. There is a link on the River Country Journal for the packet for today's meeting.
