Three public hearings are on the agenda for the Three Rivers City Commission meeting Tuesday evening (June 1st).

The first hearing pertains to a grant application to the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) for sanitary sewer replacement between Eighth Avenue and Wood Street and Fifth Avenue, referred to as the 'John Glenn Court Project.' The second is in regard to budget resolutions for Fiscal Year 2010. And the third is to hear public comment regarding an ordinance to change park hours.

Other items of business include a PILOT Payment in Lieu of Taxes request for the Riverside Townhouses and the awarding of an external audit contract to Rehmann Robson.

Tuesday's meeting will be held in the Commission Room at City Hall and begin at 6 p.m.

Liberty, then, is the sovereignty of the individual, and never shall man know liberty until each and every individual is acknowledged to be the only legitimate sovereign of his or her person, time, and property, each living and acting at his own cost ~ Josiah Warren
