So, what's up with our register of deeds. I thought I would see someone start a thread about this but no one did.

Maybe Rumor Runner could fill us in.

Sorry to disappoint...but I have no information on this except what I read in the local newspapers.

The RUMOR RUNNER attempts to verify and chase down a variety of rumors in and around St. Joseph County.

Wasn't she supposed to be in court today? Did anyone hear if they actually pressed charges against her?

From the Sturgis Journal St. Joseph County Register of Deeds Cynthia Lynn Jarratt, 53, of Three Rivers, has been charged with one count of embezzlement by a public official over $50.
