You know I wondered about that also. I assume that the change in polling places will take some time to complete so we will be voting where we have always voted.

No, the change will not take place until the next election time. For this go around everything is as it was or should be.

I am being told that ballots are being rejected (requires a manual override to complete) when all candidates are not filled in. In other words if you don't vote for the two uncontested races the ballot doesn't go through automatically.

Can anyone confirm whether they have had the same issue or not. Also, if true, does this concern anyone?

The optical scan process has safeguards so that people cannot over-vote or under-vote without being notified. The manual override does not make you do anything, other than when the ballot is rejected, it gives you a chance for "do over" if you actually missed something on the ballot. However, you can put through a blank ballot or one without all offices marked, and your votes will count. It is only when you override a ballot that is overvoted (two many votes for one office), your entire ballot except for the overvoted race will count.

I would encourage everyone to cast a vote for each seat anyway (just in case).

I am going to say some things that some don't like but Buck always encourages us to put our two cents in maybe if you all don't mind maybe three cents worth this time.If judy is confirmed as comissioner what a step back for Three Rivers and It's citizens.Back to the same old ways and the same old days.If I remember it right I could be wrong but I think that judy and her three cohorts or coconspirators were caught red handed by then Mayor Kathy Gieber in violation of the open meetings act by holding secret and illegal meetings on south main st.I may be wrong ask Kathy don't take my word for it.Just remember a rock is a rock and a cheat is still a cheat if you violate peoples trust today chances are you'll do it tomorrow or when ever it suits your purpose, remember a leopard don't change it's spots for nobody. When some of you mentioned christian in some of the postings I read just remember just cause people call themselves something don't mean it is so it is how you act and the way you treat people as to what you truly are.

I don't know Judy. All I know is that she seems to be a very nice lady with some ideas that don't jive too well with most people. What exactly, if you don't mind me asking, is the same old stuff that we are worried about? I've just recently in the past couple years started to keep up on Three Rivers politics. So, I'm PreJudy.
