It is not my intent to belittle any candidate running for City office, as there are so few.
But questions do arise over statements they make.
In a previous election, one of the candidates boasted an engineering background. the thought came to my mind, "by reading the current copy of Mechanics Illustrated each month?".
In this election, it seems the candidate Griffith implies an engineering background.
"a logical engineering approach" (from his October 18th letter in the Commercial-News.). one can work for an engineering firm sweeping their floors, and state they work for an engineering firm, and rightfully so.
What is Griffith's actual formal education and experience in engineering?

Well, he helped in engineering the firing of Blaine and Wendy H. From my understanding he helped engineer the Welton development. Let us not forget the engineering of the East parking lot with cost overruns to the taxpayers. With his track record he could be an engineer for NASA. "Nothing wrong with these O-rings"
